Tancast 8 core plinth

The core of the plinth is Tancast 8 foam. DB technology and an upper ceramic brace complete this structure, on which the RB3000 arm sits. With the dust cover in place, the turntable occupies 420 × 115 × 350 mm and weighs 4.7 kg.

Diamond-cut platter

The ceramic oxide platter is diamond-cut, then driven by a Reference EBLT drive belt fitted as standard. The P10 power supply accompanies the turntable in a separate case of 218 × 80 × 320 mm and 3 kg. It is bespoke-matched to the turntable.

Aphelion 2 moving coil cartridge

The Aphelion 2 pairs a boron rod cantilever with a nude diamond of Fine Line profile. Its anodised aluminium body is selected to zero tolerance, for a mass of 6 g. Tracking force is 1.9 g, into an input loading of 100 Ω. Supplied with the set, it is not pre-fitted to the arm.

Fully adjustable Aos MC

The Aos MC is a phono stage dedicated to moving coil cartridges, preset at the factory for the Rega range. Its frequency response runs from 17.5 Hz to 100 kHz, with harmonic distortion of 0.03%. Two gain settings are available, 69.3 dB and 63.5 dB at 1 kHz. The half-width aluminium case weighs 2.9 kg.
