Tancast 8 plinth and arm

The plinth combines a Tancast 8 foam core, DB technology and an upper ceramic brace. The RB3000 arm is fitted as standard. The turntable measures 420 × 115 × 350 mm with the dust cover in place, for 4.7 kg.

Ceramic platter and dedicated supply

The ceramic oxide platter is diamond-cut and driven by a Reference EBLT drive belt. The P10 power supply, bespoke-matched to the turntable, occupies a separate case of 218 × 80 × 320 mm for 3 kg. Rega guarantees manufacturing defects for life.

Apheta 3 cartridge

The Apheta 3 is a moving coil cartridge with a nude Fine Line diamond, housed in a one-piece CNC-machined aluminium body. It weighs 6 g and works between 1.9 and 2.0 g of tracking force. Its nominal output of 350 µV comes with channel separation of at least 29 dB. It is supplied with the set, without being pre-fitted to the arm.

Aos MC phono stage

The Aos MC is a phono stage dedicated to moving coil cartridges, preset at the factory for Rega's own. Its input loading is set to 70, 100, 150 or 400 Ω, and its capacitive loading to 1000 or 4300 pF. The circuit carries over that of the Aura MC, in a half-width aluminium case of 220 × 80 × 330 mm for 2.9 kg. Automatic standby brings consumption down to 0.4 W.
