RB330 arm and glass platter

The Planar 6 carries a hand-assembled RB330 arm with a stainless steel counterweight. The platter combines two layers of float glass, one smoked and one clear. An EBLT Reference drive belt and a low-noise 24 V motor handle the drive.

Neo PSU external power supply

The turntable is supplied with its matched Neo PSU power supply, connected by a mini DIN socket. The case measures 180 x 50 x 155 mm. The Tancast 8 core plinth and double brace technology keep weight to 5.2 kg for 447 x 120 x 360 mm, dust cover closed.

Moving coil cartridge

The Ania delivers 350 µV at an output impedance of 10 Ω, with an elliptical diamond carried by an aluminium cantilever. Its generator, among the smallest on the market, pairs a miniature iron cross with high-power neodymium magnets. Tracking force is set between 1.75 and 2.00 g. It is supplied with the turntable, without being pre-fitted to the arm.

Fono MC phono stage

The Fono MC MK4 is a phono stage dedicated to moving coil cartridges. Its loading and gain settings go through the DIP switches on the rear panel. The factory values, 100 Ω and 1000 pF with high gain, match every moving coil cartridge in the range. RIAA correction stays within ±0.2 dB from 100 Hz to 100 kHz.
