Tancast 8 plinth

The plinth rests on a Tancast 8 foam core, combined with DB technology and a ceramic brace on the upper face. The RB3000 arm is fitted as standard. With the dust cover in place, the turntable measures 420 × 115 × 350 mm for 4.7 kg.

Ceramic oxide platter

The ceramic oxide platter is diamond-cut and driven by a Reference EBLT drive belt fitted as standard. The P10 power supply is bespoke-matched to the turntable and occupies a separate case of 218 × 80 × 320 mm for 3 kg. Rega covers manufacturing defects with a lifetime warranty.

Nude Fine Line diamond

The Apheta 3 cartridge receives a nude diamond of Fine Line profile. Recommended tracking force runs from 1.9 to 2.0 g. Its nominal output voltage of 350 µV calls for a moving coil input loaded at 100 Ω.

CNC-machined aluminium body

The body is a single block of CNC-machined aluminium, for a mass of 6 g. Inside, a miniature iron cross works with a high-power neodymium magnet and high-specification wire. The cartridge is supplied with the turntable but is not pre-fitted to the arm.
