Neo PSU external power supply

The turntable is supplied with its Neo PSU power supply, matched at the factory. The case takes up 180 x 50 x 155 mm on the rack, for 0.6 kg. The EBLT Reference drive belt is fitted as standard and both speeds, 33 1/3 and 45 rpm, are selectable.

Plinth and RB880 arm

The plinth is built around a Tancast 8 foam core and stiffened by double brace technology. The RB880 precision arm rests on it. The turntable states 4.2 kg for 420 x 125 x 315 mm, dust cover in place, and the triple-layer glass platter acts as a flywheel.

CNC-machined aluminium body

The Apheta 3 is built on a one-piece CNC-machined aluminium body. A nude diamond of Fine Line profile answers to a miniature iron cross and a bespoke neodymium magnet. The internal wiring is high-specification. The cartridge weighs 6 g and arrives with the turntable, without being pre-fitted to the arm.

Phono stage settings

Tracking force sits between 1.9 and 2.0 g. The cartridge delivers a nominal 350 µV at an output impedance of 10 Ω. On an adjustable preamplifier, aim for 100 Ω of loading and 1000 pF, gain on the high setting. Channel separation reaches at least 29 dB.
