RB330 arm and RCA output

The Planar 6 is fitted with a hand-assembled RB330 arm. Its stainless steel counterweight allows precise balancing. Output is made on RCA connectors to the phono input.

Double brace and plinth

Double brace technology links the arm base to the central bearing with two braces. The plinth is built around a Tancast 8 foam core, which keeps mass to 5.2 kg. The Neo PSU external power supply, supplied, connects by mini DIN.

Nude Vital profile diamond

The Ania Pro receives a nude diamond of Vital profile, mounted on a tapered aluminium cantilever. The cartridge weighs 6 g and its moving coil generator ranks among the most compact on the market. Its coils are wound in 0.018 mm wire around a miniature iron cross.

Loading and tracking force

Nominal output voltage is 350 µV, for an output impedance of 10 Ω. The phono input should be loaded at 100 Ω with 1000 pF of capacitance, gain on the high setting on Rega stages. Tracking force sits between 1.75 and 2.00 g. The cartridge is supplied with the turntable but still has to be fitted to the arm.
