RB330 precision tonearm

The Planar 3's RB330 arm is hand-assembled. Double brace technology stiffens the area between the arm base and the bearing. The low-noise 24 V motor turns the platter through an EBLT drive belt, fitted as standard since March 2021.

Polished 12 mm glass platter

The 12 mm opti-white float glass platter is polished on its edge. The RCA output is complemented by a mini DIN socket for the Neo power supply, offered separately. The turntable weighs 6.0 kg, measures 447 × 117 × 360 mm with the dust cover closed and comes with a transparent cover.

Ania moving coil cartridge

The Ania is supplied with the turntable without being fitted to the arm. This moving coil cartridge delivers 350 µV into a 100 Ω input load. Its tracking force is set between 1.75 and 2.00 g.

Miniature iron cross

The generator is built on a miniature iron cross, one of the smallest moving coil assemblies produced to date. The coils are wound in 0.018 mm wire and work against high-power neodymium magnets. The elliptical diamond is carried by an aluminium cantilever. Output impedance is 10 Ω and channel separation reaches at least -29 dB.
