The 8.6-inch s arm is made from carbon, aluminum and resin via a three-step process combining thermal treatment and pressure of 100 bar. Its high rigidity and maximum internal damping make it compatible with the most demanding MC cells, with a magnetic traction control and a CORDING TPE counterweight.
The synchronous AC engine is powered by a precision DC generator, isolated from the tray by a silent belt. This system guarantees a rotation stability of ± 0.27% to 33 rpm and ± 0.10% at 45 rpm, with a signal / noise ratio of -71 dB.
The inverted stainless steel bearing with ceramic ball reduces residual noise to its minimum. It supports the 300 mm MDF tray designed to control the resonances, supplied with a felt mat for optimal contact with vinyl. The speed changes between 33 and 45 rpm manually.
RPM 1 carbon is available in black, white or glossy lacquered red, with or without a cell Ortofon 2m red. The semi-symmetrical and low-capacitance Phono Connect IT cable is included. A 45 rpm adapter, a felt carpet and a tracking gauge key complete the delivery.
