The XGIMI AURA 2 throws 150 inches from a cabinet against the wall, at 3840 x 2160 with Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced. Dual Light 2.0 source at 2300 ISO lumens, 99% DCI-P3, four 15 W Harman Kardon speakers and Dolby Atmos.

The AURA 2 fills 100 inches from about 18 cm off the wall, and reaches 150 inches without moving the cabinet back. A motorised door protects the optics when the unit is off and opens in under sixteen seconds at start-up. The chassis measures 144 x 510 x 270 mm: it fits a standard TV cabinet.
The source combines LED and laser for 2300 ISO lumens and 99% of the DCI-P3 gamut, with a stated dynamic contrast of 1,000,000:1. Decoding covers Dolby Vision, HDR10, HLG and, through an update, IMAX Enhanced. Latency drops to 20 ms with keystone correction off, which makes a console playable.
A UST projector does not forgive approximation: a few millimetres out of square distort the whole image. ISA 5.0 handles focus, keystone correction, screen-frame alignment and wall flatness, then dims the lamp when someone walks in front of the optics. The adjustment is redone every time the cabinet moves.
Four 15 W speakers tuned by Harman Kardon in a 2.0 configuration, with Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD and DTS Virtual:X. Android TV 11 runs on a Cortex-A55 with 2 GB of memory and 32 GB of storage. The rear lines up three HDMI including one eARC, three USB, Ethernet, optical out and a 3.5 mm jack.
