The HORIZON 20 Max draws 5700 ISO lumens from the X-Master triple laser, for a contrast of 20 000:1 with DBLE active. XGIMI intends it for rooms in daylight. Power consumption rises accordingly, up to 280 W, and the ISO 21118 figure is taken in Performance mode.
The colour gamut covers 110% of the BT.2020 space. In high colour accuracy mode, the typical factory-measured deviation stays below a Delta E of 0.8, certified by SGS under number PT/25/GEN/0201. Two further SGS class A+ certificates cover speckle, the grain specific to laser sources, and colour fringing.
The Max accepts an image up to 300 inches and drops to 1 ms latency in 1080p at 240 Hz, 2.2 ms at 120 Hz and 3 ms in 4K at 60 Hz, with automatic keystone off. XGIMI tunes its rendering for HDR gaming. The console connects to one of the two HDMI inputs, while the other, with eARC, sends the sound back to the amplifier.
The Elephant Grey housing has a leather-like texture, made to stay on show in the room. It measures 249 x 298 x 190 mm and weighs 5.4 kg, including the 2 x 12 W Harman Kardon speakers. Noise stays below 28 dB at 1 m, and XGIMI plans four years of OTA updates from the production date.
