The X-Master engine drives three red, green and blue lasers onto a 0.47-inch DLP DMD chip, in 4K at 3840 x 2160 pixels. It reaches 3200 ISO lumens, measured to ISO 21118 in Performance mode, with a contrast of 20 000:1 when DBLE is active. The colour gamut covers 110% of the BT.2020 space, according to XGIMI's laboratory measurements.
Films play in Dolby Vision, HDR10+ or IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker mode preserves the grading intended on set. MEMC interpolation smooths tracking shots, and 3D is supported. On a tinted wall, wall colour adaptation recalibrates the image between 3000 and 15 000 K, once enabled in the settings.
The lens shifts by ±120% vertically, or by ±45% horizontally when vertical shift stays at zero, without moving the projector or shrinking the image digitally. The optical zoom covers a throw ratio of 1.2 to 1.5:1, for a diagonal of 40 to 300 inches. With lens shift centred, the ISA 5.0 system handles focus, keystone and screen fitting on its own; the two modes cannot be combined.
The stand is part of the chassis: the projector sits directly on a piece of furniture, with no extra mount to buy. Two 12 W Harman Kardon speakers decode Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD, with DTS Virtual:X rendering. Google TV runs on an MT9679 chip, and noise stays below 28 dB at 1 m. The unit weighs 4.8 kg and measures 249 mm high, 298 mm wide and 190 mm deep.
