Class-A headphone amplifier and preamp in dual mono, 10 W per channel. Mirror-symmetrical amplifiers, V7 opamps and Max Current power supply.

The Soloist GT4 delivers 10 W over XLR and 5 W single-ended, in Class A. Two mirror-symmetrical amplifiers, each with its supply, handle the channels separately. Crosstalk drops and the image gains precision.

The Max Current supply reserves current for dynamic peaks, where demanding headphones give up. The Silent Power modules lower supply noise. The set holds planar and dynamic headphones without compression.

The Deluxe edition carries the discrete V7 opamps, socketed rather than soldered. They swap by hand to tune the sound signature. This discrete architecture extends fifteen years of Burson development.

A dual volume control and a balance adjustment refine stereo placement. Three crossfeed levels bring the image closer over headphones, and a headphone + subwoofer mode adds the low end. The Cool Case chassis dissipates heat without a fan.
