The Luxsin X8 is a desktop DAC and headphone amplifier. Conversion brings together eight Cirrus Logic CS43198 chips in a dual-mono layout, with four converters per channel and a dedicated shield over each chip. The CNC-machined aluminium chassis carries a 4-inch touchscreen tilted at 15 degrees.

The Digital Audio Core combines a dual-core HiFi-5 DSP with an ARM STAR architecture running above 500 MHz. This processing headroom handles real-time audio and the tuning algorithms. Its design also opens the way to on-device AI audio processing.

Parametric equalisation is driven by an AI assistant controlled by voice or text, from the mobile app or the web interface. Each output stores its own volume, PEQ, effect and crossfeed settings, recalled automatically when the socket changes. Impedance detection covers the XLR4, 4.4 mm and 6.35 mm outputs.

The headphone stage combines OPA1612 amplifiers with TPA6120A2 drivers for output rated up to 4,800 mW per channel. Inputs include USB-B, USB-C, optical, coaxial, I²S and 12 V triggers, with Bluetooth 5.1 and 2.4 / 5 GHz Wi-Fi. Headphone outputs come in 6.35 mm, 4.4 mm and XLR4, alongside XLR and RCA line outputs. Formats reach native DSD512 and PCM 768 kHz / 32-bit.
