Two Hymalaya Pro modules

The EF600 hands conversion to two Hymalaya Pro DAC modules developed by Hifiman. They use the technology of the Hymalaya Max, backed by an FPGA algorithm and 0.01% precision resistors. At the line output, THD+N stays at 0.0014% and the signal-to-noise ratio reaches 118 dB A-weighted.

High-resolution Bluetooth

A QCC5124 chip handles Bluetooth reception with the LDAC, aptX HD, aptX, AAC and SBC codecs, through the supplied antenna. On the front, the 4-pin XLR output delivers 5.12 W into 32 ohms and the 6.35 mm jack 1.8 W per channel.

Preamp and full connectivity

On the back, the EF600 accepts USB-C, USB-B and coaxial, plus RCA and XLR inputs. Its RCA and XLR outputs also let it serve as a preamplifier. The power supply is linear, and the tower enclosure improves heat dissipation while doubling as a headphone stand.
