Moon MiND 2 network player connected to a converter

Second generation

The MiND 2 is the second generation of the MOON intelligent Network Device. It carries over the functions of the original MiND and becomes Roon compatible. Synchronised multi-room playback and MQA file streaming are among the additions.

Rear panel and digital outputs

Three digital outputs

The unit outputs over TosLink, S/PDIF and AES/EBU. The converter connected to it therefore works on the format that suits it best. An aptX Bluetooth link completes the set for mobile sources.

Control app on a tablet

MiND Controller app

Control runs from the in-house app, on iPad, iPhone or Android device. It reaches music stored on a computer, a NAS or a phone, as well as the online services. It also commands the other MOON units in the chain.

Volume and SimLink

The app acts on the real volume control of a MOON chain, instead of attenuating the signal digitally. Fidelity is preserved whatever the level. The SimLink connection ties together the MOON units fitted with it, without going through the remote control.
