The SET 2 takes the Orion Reference and its TRA 9 arm, and replaces the SET 1's MC Figaro with an MC Tamino. Everything else is identical, including the Konstant FMD supplied with the deck. The Tamino sits markedly higher in the Transrotor range.
The platter is a solid aluminium block eight centimetres thick. Its mass does most of the regulating work, where other designs hand that task to electronics. The chassis beneath is built on two levels, sized for this load.
The Konstant FMD was developed for the Free Magnet Drive and is not interchangeable with the brand's other supplies. It ships with the deck, set at the factory to its drive. It is what fixes the speed and shapes the motor's voltage.
52 cm square, 30 high, 40 kg, chassis in clear acrylic and aluminium. Two arms can be fitted, and Transrotor offers a stand matched to the deck. The MC Tamino needs an MC input or a step-up transformer; loading is set with the rest in our Geneva workshop.
