Transrotor Fat Bob S set with arm and cartridge

The Fat Bob equipped

This set adds a Rega RB330 arm, an MM Uccello cartridge and an aluminium clamp to the Fat Bob S. The deck normally arrives bare: this is the most direct way to put it into service. An ordinary MM phono input is enough to connect it.

The Rega RB330 arm

The RB330 rests on a one-piece cast aluminium tube, with no joint to take up between bearing and headshell. Its bearings are machined tight and the antiskating is built into the arm body. Mounting distance is 222 mm, as on the other nine-inch Rega arms.

Moving-magnet cartridge on the headshell

The MM Uccello cartridge

The Uccello is a moving-magnet cartridge, designed by Transrotor and made for the brand. Its output is that of an ordinary MM, which makes it compatible with every integrated amplifier's phono input. Its stylus is replaced without taking the cartridge off the arm.

Polished aluminium chassis and record clamp

Twenty-five kilos, set up

44 cm wide, 38 deep, 18 high, 25 kg. The TMD bearing is standard on this deck, and a second arm can be added, twelve-inch included. Tracking force, antiskating and alignment are set in our Geneva workshop before shipping.
