Transrotor Massimo Nero set with arm and cartridge

Arm and cartridge added

This set adds a Rega RB330 arm and an MM Uccello cartridge to the Massimo Nero. The black Konstant EINS supply is not an extra: it is part of this deck's base equipment. The set therefore completes the deck on the one part it leaves open, the pickup.

The TMD bearing

The TMD bearing is a magnetic coupling: lower and upper halves rotate relative to each other, linked by three pairs of magnets with no contact at all. The motor drives the lower half, which passes movement to the upper through that field alone. The motor's jolts do not cross the gap.

POM, steel, four arms

The chassis pairs polyoxymethylene with steel, the platter is POM, the clamp is steel. The arm base adjusts continuously and the deck can carry up to four arms, which is unusual. A second motor can be built into the drive.

The MM phono input

The Uccello is a moving-magnet cartridge: it drives an MM phono input directly, with no extra stage. The deck measures 45 by 40 cm, 23 high, and weighs 34 kg. Full setup in our Geneva workshop before shipping.
