This set brings together the black ZET 3, a Rega RB880 arm, an MC Cantare cartridge, the Konstant Eins supply and an aluminium clamp. The acrylic-aluminium-acrylic sandwich chassis and the twelve-kilo platter are what separate it from the ZET 1. Connection calls for an MC phono input.
The ZET 3's platter weighs twelve kilos, two more than the ZET 1's. Transrotor owns the argument: on a vinyl record, heavier and more finely machined parts raise playback precision. The inertia serves stability, not the spec sheet.
The RB880 carries a CAD-drawn tube to cut internal stress and resonance, on a low-mass vertical bearing. The integrated phono cable uses a two-part connector assembly, cutting the contacts on the signal path. Mounting distance 222 mm.
45 cm wide, 40 deep, 23 high, 34 kg. The Konstant Eins selects 33 or 45 rpm with fine adjustment per speed. Cartridge loading, tracking force, antiskating and speed are set in our Geneva workshop before shipping.
