Transrotor ZET 1 set with Rega RB3000 arm

The Rega RB3000 arm

This SET 3 fits a Rega RB3000, the top of the series. Rega states tolerances so tight that no glue is used anywhere in the arm's construction. Its tube is hand-polished to bring mass to a minimum, and the mass distribution has been entirely redrawn.

The Konstant Reference M-1

The supply is the Konstant Reference M-1, intended for single-motor Transrotor decks. Transrotor reports markedly better motor control and speed stability for this series, with 33 and 45 rpm and fine adjustment. The case measures about 17.6 by 17 cm, 7 high.

The MC Merlo cartridge

The MC Merlo is a moving-coil cartridge: its coils are lighter than an MM's magnet, which lightens the part following the groove. In return, output level calls for an MC phono input or a step-up transformer. Loading is set with the rest before delivery.

The ZET 1 underneath

Under this equipment, the ZET 1 keeps its mirror-polished black acrylic chassis and its aluminium platter of about ten kilos. It measures 45 by 40 cm, 18 high, 24 kg. The aluminium clamp is part of the delivery, and full setup is done at our Geneva workshop.
