Transrotor ZET 1 set with arm and cartridge

The ZET 1 equipped

This set brings together the ZET 1 in mirror-polished black acrylic, a Rega RB330 arm, an MM Uccello cartridge and an aluminium clamp. It carries no separate Konstant supply. The aluminium platter of about ten kilos remains the part that holds the whole set's inertia.

The acrylic chassis

The chassis is mirror-polished black acrylic. Transrotor has used the material since the company began, as much for its acoustic behaviour as for the machining precision it allows. The deck measures 45 by 40 cm, 18 high, 24 kg.

The Rega RB330 arm

The RB330 comes from a 3D CAD and CAM design, with a revised bearing housing and a mass distribution that moves resonances aside. Mounting distance 222 mm, effective length 236.5 mm. The phono cable uses Neutrik connectors and the arm clip is built in.

An MM input is enough

The Uccello is a moving-magnet cartridge: its level drives an MM phono input directly, with no extra preamplifier or transformer. That is what makes this set simple to connect to a common integrated amplifier. Full setup in our Geneva workshop.
