Transrotor Tourbillon turntable, three-quarter view

A nod to watchmaking

The name refers to watchmakers' tourbillon movements, and the analogy rests on one precise idea: complexity subordinated to precision, not the reverse. Transrotor draws the comparison itself. The deck takes from it a build where every part has a mechanical reason.

Eight centimetres of acrylic

The platter is acrylic, eight centimetres thick. Transrotor sees in it the ideal of the mass-loaded deck: inertia does the work that electronic regulation does elsewhere. A weighted flywheel completes the assembly beneath the main platter.

Lower aluminium block and external switch

Three drives in the block

The lower aluminium block houses three drives. The platter rests on the Free Magnet Drive, which fully decouples rotation from the source of torque. Starting goes through a large external switch, in aluminium.

Forty-three kilos, three arms

52 cm each way, 30 high, 43 kg. Up to three arms can be used, and a dedicated stand is offered as an option. The deck arrives without arm or cartridge, fitted and aligned in our Geneva workshop.
