Transrotor Rondino Bianco turntable, three-quarter view

A contactless drive

The platter turns on the Free Magnet Drive, a drive where nothing touches anything. Transrotor presents it as one of its distinguishing traits, and the consequence is direct: no mechanical part can pass the motor's irregularity on to the platter. The Konstant FMD supply is included.

Arm outrigger set apart from the chassis

The arm on its outrigger

The deck carries the arm on an outrigger set apart from the main chassis. Transrotor presents that piece as design work as much as engineering, and it has a purpose: it moves the arm's anchor away from the rotating mass. Up to three arms can be fitted.

Clear acrylic

The chassis is clear acrylic, the platter pairs aluminium with acrylic, the clamp is aluminium. The transparency leaves the mechanics in view, which fits a construction with nothing to hide under a lid. A dedicated stand is available as an option.

Thirty-five kilos

47 cm wide, 42 deep, 22 high, 35 kg. At these figures an ordinary hi-fi rack no longer does, neither in surface nor in load. The deck arrives without arm or cartridge, fitted and aligned in our Geneva workshop.
