Transrotor ZET 1 turntable, three-quarter view

Mirror-polished black acrylic

This ZET 1's chassis is mirror-polished black acrylic. Transrotor has used the material since the company began, for its acoustic behaviour as much as for the machining precision it allows. Black is the range's original finish.

Aluminium platter with black mat surface

Ten kilos of platter

The aluminium platter weighs about ten kilos and carries a black mat surface. It is the part that does the work: at this inertia the motor's jolts no longer show up in the speed. Transrotor calls it the heart of the deck.

Two arms, nine or twelve

A second arm base can be fitted, in nine or twelve inches. Two cartridges therefore stay available at all times, with nothing to unmount between records. The ZET 1 also takes two motors, with the Konstant M-2 Reference supply.

Twenty-four kilos, 45 by 40

45 cm wide, 40 deep, 18 high, 24 kg. Depth is the figure to watch: forty centimetres sits badly on a standard hi-fi rack. The deck arrives without arm or cartridge, fitted and aligned in our Geneva workshop.
