The TP 120 is a true 9-inch aluminium tonearm bent in a J, its effective mass just over 15 grams. Modern bearings cut play and friction to a level rare at this price, sharpening the way it tracks the groove. Its outline echoes the TP 150 and TP 124 arms from the dearer decks.

The die-cast aluminium platter turns on a precision-ground belt, set apart from the motor. The plinth stands on four damping feet that stop resonances travelling up from the furniture. This base steadies the speed and lowers the noise floor.

The SME-type headshell detaches and comes fitted with an Audio-Technica AT95E. Spring anti-skating allows precise arm setup. The SME fitting and the quality of the arm open the way to more ambitious cartridges without changing the deck.

On the rear, RCA outputs link the deck to the amplifier, and the built-in phono stage switches off for a line input. The chassis measures 420 x 360 x 145 mm at 4.2 kg. The TD 204 comes in gloss black and gloss walnut.
