Carbon-fibre plinth

The skeletal plinth combines graphene-impregnated carbon fibre with a Tancast 8 foam core. Ceramic braces stiffen it at the top and at the bottom. The whole measures 420 × 115 × 350 mm with the dust cover in place, for 4.65 kg.

RB Titanium tonearm

The RB Titanium arm receives a one-piece titanium vertical bearing and a vertical spindle in the same metal. The shaft and balance counterweight are made of tungsten. Rega offers factory fitting of an Aphelion 2 moving coil cartridge as an option.

ZTA ceramic bearing

The central bearing is made of ZTA, an alumina toughened with zirconium oxide. The ceramic platter adopts a complex profile and an improved flywheel effect, with controlled resonance. The turntable rests on low-mass skeletal aluminium feet.

Adjustable Reference power supply

The Reference power supply is fully adjustable and occupies a separate case of 218 × 80 × 320 mm for 3 kg. Three Reference drive belts turn the platter, for improved stability and drive characteristics. Rega covers manufacturing defects with a lifetime warranty.
