Replacement diamond

The Carbon Pro is an upgrade stylus for moving magnet cartridges. It replaces the original stylus assembly, the cartridge staying in place on the tonearm. Recommended tracking force is between 2 and 3 g.

Bonded elliptical profile

The diamond is of elliptical type, bonded to its carrier. Rega states a dimension of 0.3 × 0.7 mm.

Worn stylus removal

The change is made by hand, without tools. Hold the plastic housing between thumb and forefinger, then pull downwards and towards you. The stylus assembly then releases from the cartridge.

New stylus fitting

Present the stylus at a slight angle, so that the hook at its end engages in the cartridge. Then push upwards until it clicks. This click confirms that the part is correctly in place.
