Like Formula 1 cars, this McLaren edition relies on carbon fibre, which is stiff and very light. Klipsch designed a high-excursion woofer cone in this material. It limits cone breakup for deep, detailed bass with less distortion.
An HDMI-ARC input connects the TV without an extra remote, HDMI cable included. The built-in phono preamp accepts a turntable. Bluetooth 5, an optical input, an analogue RCA input and USB complete the set.
Each speaker houses custom-designed ultra-low-noise amplifiers. No external amplifier is needed. Decoding reaches 192 kHz / 24-bit and Dynamic Bass EQ keeps the bass full at low volume.
The Klipsch Connect app adjusts a three-band EQ, subwoofer level and speaker position. It saves settings and installs updates over the air. A subwoofer output accepts a powered subwoofer.
