Two-lane Bowers & Wilkins ceiling premises to severe / 200 mm medium and tweeter 25 mm. Recessed shallow depth, cut for large pieces.

The CCM382 embarks a 200 mm grave / medium speaker, the largest diameter of the flexible ceiling series at Bowers & Wilkins. This membrane surface moves more air than 160 mm from the CCM362, which drops below in the grave and holds the level in large parts. The 25 mm flexible dome tweeter completes all on the treble.
Two transducers share the spectrum: the 200 mm for the grave and the medium, the dome of 25 mm for the treble. Entrusting each band to a dedicated speaker avoids a single cone reproducing everything. The set remains a ceiling chamber, not a column - the sound comes from above, without taking care of the ground.
As the rest of the flexible series, the CCM382 adopts a shallow chassis that lodges in limited ceiling voids. Once asked, the speaker flushes the surface and exposes only its white grid. The installation targets ceilings where the available depth is counted.
The CCM382 presents itself in white, ready to blend in a painted ceiling. Bowers & Wilkins designs this series so that the material fades and that only the music occupies the room. The same model comes from one room to another for a consistent installation throughout a dwelling.
