Rectangular Format

The H-80 R carries the 8-inch driver of the H series in a rectangular 452 x 284 mm chassis. That shape follows the lines of a ceiling or a wall better than a circle and mounts either horizontally or vertically.

8-inch Wood Fibre Woofer

The wood fibre cone reaches down to 46 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB. Sensitivity of 90 dB and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms suit home cinema amplifiers; power handling runs from 30 to 200 W and maximum output reaches 109 dB at one metre.

Aimable Soft Dome

The 28 mm woven fabric soft dome turns within the baffle and can be aimed at the listening area. The two-way crossover sits at 2350 Hz. The cabinet is open at the back: the wall cavity acts as the load, from 15 to 100 litres, with 30 litres as the optimum.

Installation

Cut-out of 427 x 260 mm, mounting depth of 102 mm, wall or ceiling from 10 to 70 mm. The dog-leg clamps tighten with a screwdriver. The speaker weighs 4 kg with its grille.
