Eight-Inch Woofer

The PHANTOM K-80 builds on the PHANTOM E platform with an 8-inch wood fibre woofer. It reaches down to 48 Hz at plus or minus 3 dB and takes 50 to 200 W, enough to carry a living room without a separate subwoofer. Its 87 dB sensitivity leaves headroom on a multizone amplifier.

Aimable Tweeter

The 28 mm soft dome swivels in its housing, so the treble can be pointed at the listening area. A ceiling speaker rarely sits above the seats, and aiming makes up for the offset. Crossing over at 3300 Hz leaves most of the voice range to the woofer, so the image stays stable off axis.

Interchangeable Grilles

The grille is magnetic and lifts off without tools, which keeps the settings reachable after installation. DALI offers a design grille and a classic bezel version, in white or black. The frame takes paint when the installation has to disappear into the ceiling.

Mounting and Wiring

Dog-leg clamps hold the speaker in a circular cut-out, with no back box required. The terminal takes a single cable run, which keeps multi-room wiring simple. The sealed enclosure means no specific air volume has to be preserved above the ceiling.
