The 3.25-inch driver and 0.75-inch tweeter share the same axis. This coaxial layout keeps the tone consistent when walking under the loudspeaker, whereas offset drivers change character with listening angle. Frequency response runs from 85 Hz to 19 kHz at -3 dB, with no external correction needed.
At 170°, the DM3C opens wider than any other two-way in the line. In low-ceiling spaces—hallways, restrooms, fitting rooms—this coverage spreads mounting points and cuts loudspeaker density per square meter. Sensitivity 83 dB SPL/1 W/1 m; maximum SPL 98 dB at 1 m.
The housing requires 208 mm cutout, 255 mm external diameter, and 144 mm mounting depth. Three spring-loaded arms lock it with one hand, no tools needed; three anchor points accept the safety cable. The stamped-steel rear enclosure closes the volume and isolates the plenum.
Three transformer taps—6, 12, and 25 W—meter power onto the 100 V line. The bypass sets the loudspeaker to 8 Ω, 30 W AES continuous, for low-impedance wiring. At 12 W setting, it carries background music and twenty units run on a 250 W channel.
