The DM2C-LP fits into 99 mm of plenum space. Its 2.25-inch full-range driver and drawn-steel back enclosure form a 1.6 kg assembly that fits where two-way systems cannot: low false ceilings, ductwork overhangs, corridor plenums. The cutout remains 165 mm with an external diameter of 198 mm.
A single full-range driver covers 180° in a conical pattern, compared to 170° for the two-way DM3C that succeeds it in the range. The difference is slight, yet it changes unit spacing at the ceiling, particularly below 2.60 m where the cones overlap quickly. The frequency response spans 95 Hz to 18 kHz at -3 dB, with sensitivity of 84 dB SPL/1 W/1 m and a maximum level of 97 dB at 1 m.
Three spring-loaded arms lock the enclosure into the cutout. Installation is single-handed, requires no tools, and three anchor points accept the safety cable required for fixed installation. The perforated steel grille magnets onto the chassis: the logo comes off, the bezel stays minimal, and the finish is available in black or white.
Three transformer taps—2.3, 4.5, and 9 W—distribute power across a 100 V line. Bypass brings the speaker back to 16 Ω for direct low-impedance connection. Set to 4.5 W, it sustains background music for a shop without overdriving the zone amplifier; twenty units still fit on a single 100 W channel.
