Black chrome finish

This TRA 9 carries the black chrome finish. Transrotor treats the arm in four surface states — matt black, black chrome, black and gold, ruthenium — without touching the mechanics. Chrome is a deposited layer, not a tint: the surface stays hard and marks less than an anodised one.

Height adjustment screws

Two screws for height

Height is set by two screws lifting the arm parallel to itself. Vertical tracking angle is therefore corrected without the tube tilting, which leaves azimuth untouched. The setting can be repeated exactly after a cartridge change.

View of the tube and mounting base

Nine or twelve inches

The arm comes in 232.8 mm and 308.2 mm, nine and twelve inches, with mounting distance following the same figure. Antiskating is magnetic, set through a fine thread, central mark at 1.8 grams. Length is chosen by the deck's base, not by the cartridge.
