The arm comes in 232.8 mm and 308.2 mm, that is nine and twelve inches. Mounting distance follows the same figure, which simplifies layout on an adjustable base. The twelve-inch cuts tracking error, at the cost of greater moving mass.
Height is set by two screws that lift the arm parallel to itself. The tube therefore does not tilt during adjustment: vertical tracking angle is corrected without introducing azimuth error. That is what makes the setting repeatable after a cartridge change.
Side-thrust compensation is magnetic, set through a fine thread. The central mark corresponds to 1.8 grams, shown by a red line on the scale. A magnet has no friction to overcome at the start, unlike a thread and its counterweight.
Internal wiring and connecting cable come from van den Hul, with silvered system tags. A cartridge signal is measured in fractions of a millivolt: every intermediate contact matters more here than on a line-level link. RCA or XLR output, to order.
