Titanium vertical bearings

The vertical bearing is made of titanium, in a single piece. The vertical spindle assembly is also in titanium. These two elements govern the movement of the arm in the vertical plane.

Tungsten counterweight

The counterweight is made of tungsten, as is the rod on which it slides. This assembly handles the balancing of the arm. Effective mass stays low, at 11 g.

Hand-polished aluminium tube

The tube is in low-mass aluminium, polished by hand. The mounting distance stands at 222 mm, from the centre of the platter to the centre of the arm hole. Effective length reaches 236.5 mm, for an offset angle of 21.55° and an overhang of 14.5 mm.
