JVC PK-AG3 3D glasses, three-quarter view

Synchronised active shutter

The PK-AG3 are active shutter glasses for 3D-capable D-ILA projectors. Synchronisation runs over radio frequency and covers about 10 metres, with no need to face the screen. The PK-EM2 emitter is required and sold separately.

Battery life and charging

The built-in battery is quoted at 100 hours of use and charges in 2 hours 30. A five-minute top-up covers thirteen hours of viewing. The supplied USB cable connects to any USB source; the charger is not included.

Lenses and hinges, three-quarter view

Built-in 2D mode

A 2D mode lets one viewer follow the same projection flat, without leaving the screening. The mode is selected on the frame itself. The glasses weigh 38 grams, which limits fatigue over a feature film.

Frame and accessories

The adjustable frame is worn over prescription glasses. The glasses ship with a USB cable and a protective pouch. They work with the brand's full range of 3D D-ILA models.
