Sixteen outputs leave room for several subwoofers driven by WaveForming and for LCR front speakers powered in bridged mode. Trinnov pairs this model with one or two Amplitude16 amplifiers. If the room later gains more height speakers, the licence extends two channels at a time, up to 32.
Any channel can go to any physical output, whether analogue, AES/EBU or Dante. Eight balanced analogue outputs on DB25, up to 32 AES/EBU outputs on two DB25 connectors and up to 32 Dante channels share the same chassis. An installation can therefore combine an existing analogue amplifier with networked Amplitude16 units.
The four HDMI 2.1 inputs accept VRR, FRL and ALLM from games consoles. Bandwidth reaches 40 Gbps on all inputs and outputs, enough for 4K120 in 4:4:4 with HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision or HLG. Two HDMI outputs can feed a projector and a television, for example, with on-screen menus overlaid.
The smoked-glass front panel, framed in brushed aluminium, houses a 5-inch touchscreen. The 2U enclosure weighs 8.6 kg and measures 438 × 88 × 371 mm without rack ears or feet, both of which are removable. Full setup is done from the macOS or Windows app, or from the web interface.
