The AVM 70 8K converts every digital signal with 32-bit / 768 kHz DACs. It is powered by a toroidal transformer. It decodes the Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced object formats to place each sound in space.

ARC Genesis room correction

ARC Genesis measures the room with a precision microphone, then corrects the frequency response instead of masking it. Four profiles can be stored. The processor handles up to 15 speakers and two subwoofers, on two independent outputs.

8K HDMI platform

Seven HDMI 2.1 inputs accept 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz pass-through. Three HDMI outputs are available, one of them for zone 2, and eARC is supported. The processor also handles HDCP 2.3, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, VRR, ALLM and QFT.

Streaming and IP control

The AVM 70 8K streams via AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast (audio), Bluetooth 4.2 and Spotify Connect. A web interface switches zone 2 on and adjusts volume, audio mode and channel trims from a phone, tablet or computer. IP and RS232 control integrates with Savant, Control4, RTI, URC, Crestron and ELAN.
