Most bi-wirable loudspeakers ship with plain stamped metal links between their binding posts. When bi-wiring is not an option, these AudioQuest jumpers take their place. You keep a single speaker cable and gain a far better connection between the two sections.
Each jumper is a solid wire of PSC copper, AudioQuest's very high-purity copper. AudioQuest deliberately leaves out any insulation and any plug, avoiding materials that degrade the signal. This version comes in the gold finish.
On a two-way speaker, AudioQuest recommends feeding the positive pole to the treble input and the negative pole to the bass input. On a three-way speaker, the cable lands on the treble input and the jumpers run down to the bass. The delicate balance between midrange and tweeter is preserved.
The set holds four 4-inch jumpers, roughly 10 cm each. Two jumpers link the binding posts of one speaker, so the set covers a pair. They are supplied in an AudioQuest case.
