This adapter takes an Eole 4 satellite and mounts it in a ceiling: it includes the frame and the trim ring, but not the speaker. The satellite shown in the picture is ordered separately. The trim ring has a textured finish made to take the ceiling paint and attaches to the frame with magnets, with no visible screw. At 3.6 mm thick it sits almost flush with the surface.
The manual calls for a 175 mm diameter cut-out, then covered by a 200 mm trim ring, and only the lower part of the sphere protrudes from the ceiling. Inside its frame, the sphere swivels 24 degrees either side of vertical to aim at the listening position rather than the floor. The coaxial driver covers 150 to 22,000 Hz, with a 29 mm tweeter and a 10 cm midbass driver.
