Built-in phono stage

The Suzi Pre includes a phono stage compatible with moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges. Gain and load impedance are selected on the front panel. Total harmonic distortion is given as 0.0007% A-weighted.

Connections and measurements

The unit offers one RCA turntable input, two RCA line inputs and one stereo RCA output. Frequency response covers 7 Hz to 30 kHz within plus or minus 3 dB and the signal-to-noise ratio reaches −103 dB. Power is supplied at 12 V DC.

Control sphere

A central polychrome sphere adjusts volume and selects the source. The supplied remote control repeats these functions from a distance. The two headphone outputs, 3.5 and 6.35 mm, deliver 160 mW into 100 ohms.
