Streaming platform Naim

The NSC 222 reads WAV files up to 32 bit / 384 kHz as well as DSD 64 and 128 FS streams. Qobuz, Tidal, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, UPnP, and Internet Radio are among the supported sources. The network goes through Ethernet 10/100 or Wi-Fi 802.11ac, whose antenna is housed inside the heat sink. The digital floor covers 3 Hz to 27 kHz at -3 dB.

Phono entry and helmet

The phono mm is integrated in the preamplifier: 47 kΩ / 470 PF charge, 5 mV sensitivity, 40 dB gain. The RIAA curve is held at ± 0.1 dB, with 23 dB reserve before clipping, ie 75 mV eligible peak. The headphone output on Jack 6.35 mm delivers 1.5 W under 16 Ω.

Digital and analog connectivity

Two Toslink optical inputs accept up to 24 bit / 96 kHz; The RCA and BNC coaxial entries rise to 24 bit / 192 KHz and manage the 64 FS DOP.
