Reference Preamplifier

The Michi P5 Series 2 brings all your analog and digital sources together in a complete stereo preamplifier. Its architecture carefully manages the signal path to preserve the richness of every recording. It serves as the heart of a Michi system when paired with the S5 or M8 power amplifiers.

Dual ESS SABRE Converters

Two 8-channel, 32-bit ESS SABRE digital-to-analog converters process digital signals with exceptional precision. Harmonic distortion remains below 0.002% on the line inputs. The P5 Series 2 supports MQA and MQA Studio files.

MM and MC Phono Inputs

A dedicated phono stage accommodates both moving-magnet and moving-coil turntables. Music lovers thus have access to an analog input optimized for vinyl playback. PC-USB and Bluetooth aptX HD inputs round out the connectivity options.

Roon Tested Certified

The P5 Series 2 is Roon Tested certified and compatible with Bluetooth aptX HD and AAC. Its 485 × 150 × 452 mm chassis weighs 22.9 kg and features the design language of the Michi line. The color display and control dial allow for intuitive navigation among sources.
