The eight channels of the Amplitude8 are built on Hypex Ncore NC1200 Class D modules. Each one handles 225 W RMS into 8 Ω, 375 W into 4 Ω and 500 W into 2 Ω, measured from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 0.05% THD+N. Response stays within ±0.5 dB from 0 Hz to 20 kHz, whatever the load.
The chassis houses two 4-channel amplifiers. Each has its own linear power supply with a toroidal transformer and its own mains inlet. The whole unit weighs 48 kg, and the damping factor exceeds 6000 at 100 Hz and 2000 across the full 20 Hz to 20 kHz band.
The input level matches the output of the Trinnov Altitude32 processor, which lowers the system's noise floor by 6 to 8 dB. It takes 6.15 V, or +18 dBu balanced, to reach 225 W into 8 Ω. Each channel has its own balanced XLR input and 5-way binding post, and the signal-to-noise ratio reaches 125 dB A-weighted.
