Configurable Multichannel Amplifier

The Hegel C55 is part of the C5 series of rack-mountable, configurable multichannel power amplifiers. This 5-channel version delivers up to 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms. It is equally suited for a home theater system, a multi-room setup, or a studio.

The Hegel Sound, Multiplied

The C5 series fully preserves the Hegel sound signature thanks to patented SoundEngine2 technology. Its low-bias operation minimizes heat generation and allows for installation in a 19-inch rack. The damping factor, exceeding 2,000, ensures deep, tightly controlled bass.

Designed for rack mounting

Each channel features individual gain controls, switchable between 23 and 29 dB, and phase reversal. Trigger inputs and outputs enable daisy-chaining and remote standby. Sturdy rack brackets are an integral part of the chassis.
