The XGIMI Halo+ carries a 59.45 Wh battery and projects at 1920 x 1080 and 700 ISO lumens with no mains socket. Automatic focus and keystone correction, Android TV and two 5 W Harman Kardon speakers.

The Halo+ is the only one in the portable range to hold 700 ISO lumens on its own 59.45 Wh battery. The difference shows outdoors at dusk, when 400 lumens no longer cut it. The source is rated for 25,000 hours and the image scales to 200 inches at a 1.2:1 throw ratio.
172 x 114 x 145 mm for 1.6 kg: the Halo+ travels one-handed and sits on the ground, on a low wall or on a camping table. With no power cable to run, where it goes depends only on the wall you want to light. Automatic keystone correction squares the image after each move.
Two 5 W speakers tuned by Harman Kardon decode DTS-HD, DTS Studio Sound and Dolby Digital Plus. Outdoors they carry without a second box; indoors, the HDMI eARC port sends the track to a soundbar. Bluetooth 5.0 also works the other way, with the image off.
Android TV runs on 2 GB of memory and 16 GB of storage, with Chromecast and casting from a phone. Focus, keystone correction, screen alignment and obstacle avoidance all work without a menu. Connectivity comes down to one HDMI eARC, one USB and a 3.5 mm jack, which suits a projector on the move.
