Strands from 47 to 39 AWG

The Clear Beyond Phono gets the most refined Matched Propagation conductors from Cardas. Their Grade 1 OFHC copper strands, 99.9999% pure, range from 47 to 39 AWG, for 4 x 26.5 AWG in star-quad inside LDPE air tubes. PTFE air tubes 1.618 times larger than the core tubes hold the tinned copper shield away from the conductors. The outer diameter is 13 mm.

SRCA RCA plugs

On the preamp side, the standard termination is the Cardas SRCA RCA plug. The cable is also available RCA to RCA.

S-DIN connector

On the turntable side, the standard cable starts from a Cardas S-DIN connector. Each cable is made to order and terminated by hand by the senior Cardas technicians in Bandon. Cardas reports gains in spatial imaging, dynamics and bass impact.

Angled R-DIN as an option

The angled R-DIN connector is not the standard termination: Cardas fits it to order. The 90° angled DIN for SME tonearms is also among the made-to-order options.
