Compact 1.1.1 speaker

The M5 fits in 15.2 cm per side and 19.9 cm of height, for 1.7 kg. Three drivers share 50 W, one of them aimed at the ceiling for the height channel. The two speakers in the set form the rear channels of a home cinema or a stereo pair.

Dolby Atmos FlexConnect

Linked to the H7 bar or to a compatible LG TV, the pair goes anywhere; the system locates each speaker and shares out the channels. FlexConnect needs at least two M5s, which the set provides. With the H7 bar, Sound Follow re-centres the stage on the listening position.

Wi-Fi streaming and Bluetooth 5.4

AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect run over Wi-Fi; Bluetooth 5.4 accepts SBC and AAC. Decoding goes up to 24-bit/96 kHz. AI Sound Pro recognises the type of content and adjusts clarity and depth during playback.

Settings in LG ThinQ

The LG ThinQ app pairs the two M5s in stereo, sets up FlexConnect and runs Room Calibration Pro, which measures the room and corrects the response. A floor stand, sold separately, holds the speaker at ear height and hides the power cable.
