The Pearl Myuki runs on its battery for up to 12 hours. A sphere 17 cm across weighing 2.1 kg, it is picked up by its built-in handle and travels in the supplied carrying bag, with its shoulder strap. This matt white version has silver chrome trims and a Lissajous pattern embossed in the woofers.
A DOM 45 full-range driver reproduces the midrange and treble, with 65 W of amplification. Two 12 cm woofers in a push-push layout, in a very small enclosure volume, receive 76 W; their honeycomb cone is designed for firm, tight bass. A single speaker reaches 99 dB RMS and the bandwidth runs from 30 to 23,000 Hz.
Two linked speakers form a stereo pair that reaches 109 dB peak. In the StreamCONTROL app or with AirPlay 2, The Pearl Myuki also groups with the other Cabasse connected systems for multiroom. It connects over Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or Ethernet, and has an S/PDIF optical input, a 3.5 mm jack and a USB-C port. It plays FLAC, ALAC and AIFF, as well as DSD 64 and 128.
Like La Sphère, The Pearl Myuki corrects the room acoustics with its built-in microphone and Cabasse's patented CRCS system. DFE mode adjusts the power sent to the drivers in real time to keep the dynamics at low volume, and the tonal balance can be set to taste. On top, six illuminated touch keys with light haptic feedback control the source, playback, volume and power.
